Data stored locally on your device
The extension keeps its working data in your browser's extension storage, on your device only:
- Your settings (daily limits, filters, theme, the feed or hashtag you chose)
- Your protected accounts list (Safe List)
- The comment texts and hashtags you write for Auto Comment, and the list of videos already commented on (so no video ever gets a second comment)
- Activity logs — who was unfollowed, which videos were liked or commented on, with dates
- A randomly generated device identifier (created locally)
This data persists until you uninstall the extension or clear its storage from your browser's extension settings. A comment text leaves your browser only when the extension posts it to TikTok from your own account, as you asked it to.
Data sent to our server
Exactly two things sync to our server (hosted on Cloudflare):
- Your TikTok user ID — the numeric identifier of the account you use, read from your own browser session
- Your daily action counts — how many unfollows, likes and comments you performed today
These are used for one purpose: enforcing your plan's daily limits (7 actions per mode per day on the free plan; your chosen slider values on PRO) and keeping your usage in sync if you reinstall. Nothing else is transmitted.
What we never collect
- Your TikTok password — there is no password form anywhere in the product
- Your videos, drafts, messages or direct conversations
- Your follower or following lists — they are read inside your browser to run a session and never uploaded
- Your browsing history or activity on other websites
Payments
PRO subscriptions (€9.99/month) are processed by Stripe, our payment provider. When you purchase, Stripe handles the checkout and we receive your email address and your TikTok user ID solely to activate PRO on your account and to send subscription receipts. We never receive or store your payment card details.
This website
unfollowtiktok.com is a static website. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics scripts and embeds no advertising or social trackers. We only see the standard, anonymous server logs that our hosting provider (Cloudflare) produces.
Data retention
- On your device: until you uninstall the extension or clear its storage
- On our server: for as long as your subscription is active, plus 90 days after cancellation; free-plan counters are simple daily tallies
Your choices
- Request deletion of your server-side data at any time by emailing us — we will remove the records linked to your TikTok user ID
- Remove all local data instantly by uninstalling the extension from your browser's extension management page
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will also be mentioned in the extension's release notes and on the changelog.
